Why would we ask? Even ignoring the circumstance bonus from being in the shop, it’s an early 2000s Audi...

In 2006 I found my girlfriend, now wife, an 02 Nagaro Blue Avant. It was a CPO 6 speed with the aluminum trim in the black interior. It was pretty much the perfect S4. I had just taught her to drive a manual and she said she wasn’t ready for her everyday car to be a manual. My STI wasn’t that old so I wasn’t in the market for a car. It was one of the great losses in my car shopping history.

In 2005, I nearly bought an out-of-warranty 2001.5 S4. My oldest brother strongly advised me not to. Bought an ‘05 Mazda 3s hatch instead, and drove it for 7 years. I’m guessing he saved me a lot of heartache.
